In this workshop we take the opportunity to proudly present the project that has been maturing over a year with all the experts’ guidance and your recommendations. As the name ‘groundwork’ suggests, during this event, we will be debating the fundamentals of the Dutch planning and development policies, how they have changed and whether they are adequate for our future challenges.

We strongly believe that this gathering will initiate the desired co-creative process towards an effective model of spatial planning. Thus, apart from insights we get from our expert panel, we expect a lot of opinions and core involvement from all the participants in an interactive workshop.

This is the first event of The New Planning Dialogue, in the series of eight inspiring activities in the upcoming years. The workshop is being developed by Vereniging Deltametropool along with Delft University of Technology, European Policy Research Centre and University of Groningen.

We would like to ensure the participation of all the involved organisations in this event. Kindly confirm your presence or any representative from your organisation.
